2nd day of I-Phase was long. Had a private with Dr. Cobb b4 class. Lot's of drills today.
Time to eat.
Did the first day of Z-Health I phase yesterday. The Yoganator, Quadzilla (Fawn) has joined us, which was a pleasent surprise. We have a small class which is nice for us taking the class. Gotta go wake up the boys so we can get going.

Too many "fat food" restaurants in Cottage GroveDoes Cottage Grove really need a Culvers? We surely don't want to build a Gold's Gym and get rid of a blighted building and get water and sewer to that area paid for. But, by God we need a Culvers! Not enough places to get fat in Cottage Grove yet. Our kids are suffering from obesity and high blood pressure yet Cottage Grove doesn't have a community center. Teenagers are running amok burning down porta potties yet no community center. Why doesn't the city council find a way to buy the Home Depot building and convert it into a communtiy center? I'm all for that. Our kids desperately need more outlets for exercise and a place to gather besides the parking lots of the fat food restaurants. Thank you and don't park in the fire lanes. -Joe
That's my letter to the editor that appeared in the South Washington County Bulletin newspaper today.
Training: Vo2 Max- Dane of Pain protocol with swings- h2h, one handed & snatches- 158 reps in 9:45 minutes. Mostly sets f 8. 15 sec on 15 sec off. Kind of glad I stopped when I did. Save some energy for another day. Better to undertrain than overtrained, drained and strained!
Here's a few things I've discovered in the last week...
My new dog is lactose intolerant- Do not feed her even a little bit of ice cream and sleep in the same room with her! Whew!!!
When an asshole tries to rub your face in a mistake that is really not your fault, make his life hell by turning the negativity around on him so you come out on top looking like the genius that you truly are.
Don't listen to critcs for the same reason I don't listen to fools. Let the critism pass you by like a fart in the wind.
Don't underestimate the stupidity and laziness of the average "employee of the month" ( what a joke) who gets drunk every weekends and lives for football.
The Olympics are way cool, except for all that men's beach volleyball.
How about some weightlifting or Judo???
