I bought a 30 x 50 inch duffel bag yesterday at CC military surplus for hauling my 50 foot ropes to and from class.
Today I trained with my regular sized duffel bag filled with two ropes for my warm up.
Then I went out and got the other bag, filled it with three ropes and carried it back inside the studio. I then put the other two 50 foot ropes into the huge duffel bag with room to spare.
Then I lifted the bag.Just picking it up off the ground is a lot of work. I just picked it up and did some squats holding it for five or six sets of two reps each.
Very good for the grip, hips and core. It's also easy on the hands as far as not hurting the hands like kb's and barbells, pull bars can.
It's a win/win training tool.
Have a Happy new Year,
Joe
